This board features the untamed grains of ambrosia maple accented by purple heart and walnut, all of which are anchored by a hard Canadian maple handle. There are even a few plugs from track holes from former insects, which lead to the iconic staining found in the grain. A classic shape from Como Designs
Care instructions:
Do not put in dishwasher
Hand wash with soap and water
Towel dry immediately
Do not allow wood products to soak in water.
Re-apply a coat of Como Designs wood wax conditioner every month to rejuvenate the natural colors and keep your board in tip top shape.
This board was immersed in a mineral oil bath for 24 hrs and topped off with a hand polish of mineral oil and beeswax.
This finish is 100% food safe.
